Settle down, pop fans, Aquahas nothing to do with the band and everything to do with naval warfare. Looking down on your ship, you guide it through various missions, controlling movement with one stick and firepower with another.

Play is more sophisticated than it appears, with neat gun upgrades, tactical skirmishes and even a few sailors in your charge. Commanding small squads of boats with various combat specialisations, you can call on them to help you when the fighting gets too hectic.

In-game advice is provided by two voices: a clipped British male and an American woman. The latter takes a little too much joy in warfare. “Wow, those mines really caused some damage,” she purrs.

A diverting little game with a nice steam-punk aesthetic, Aqua should appeal to your closet naval commander.
