Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Lite

This is the first time that a Grand Theft Autogame has been offered free on iPhone. Chinatown Wars Liteprovides three levels to wreak havoc while completing missions and establishing yourself in Liberty City's grimy underworld.

In the role of Huang Lee, players must give Uncle Wu “Kenny” Lee a bit of back-up as he seeks to regain control of Liberty City’s Triad gangs. Originally there to deliver the family’s sword, Huang gets embroiled in all that Liberty City has to offer.

Considering the size of the iPhone/iPod Touch screen, the game translates reasonably well to the smaller format. Controls are a touch joystick on the screen, with additional icons appearing for driving cars etc. If you get hooked after the first three levels, the full version is also available in the App Store.
