With the success of Lego Star Warsand Lego Indiana Jones, it was only a matter of time before the Danish block-builders turned their hand to Harry Potter. Indeed, the wizard and the iconic toys are a perfect fit.

Fans of these games will be familiar with the packaging and gameplay. As always, the dialogue-free sketches are droll, cute, and wittier than the source material. The gameplay is a mix of puzzle-solving adventure and platform action, with the ability to move between characters. Switching between three young heroes might have been repetitive, so it was a relief to be able to play as supporting characters too, including Hagrid and his dog.

The puzzle-solving may be off-putting to some gamers, but most Muggles will find it endearing and fun.
