Good morning reader. Your punishment for a couch-potato life of gaming is that you must read a review of Saw II.The wrong decision may result in buyer's remorse. Let the game begin. The Sawgames exist in parallel to the films, and Jigsaw is still devising elaborate, macabre and ironic tortures for his victims. Set-pieces are typical, such as cutting out one's own eye to get an essential key. Saw II's gameplay varies from quick-time events to exploration and puzzle-solving. It's a grimy, dank-looking game, with graphics that leave a lot to be desired. The puzzles and the difficulty level are fine, but the controls are sluggish, the save points sparse and the load times a bit lengthy after each time you die. C'mon, Jigsaw, throw us a bone! Torture porn fans might like the eviscerations, but Alan Wake and Bioshock are better bets for devotees of creepy horror games.
