I’m Here GPS Tracker

This brand new I'm Here device lets you bring your inner spook to a new level and stalk anything. It's a standalone GPS tracker with its own internal GPS and GSM – although it needs a SIM card, of course, to be of any use. Simply leave the I'm Here running with whatever you want to track down, like luggage, the car, a child or even your other half (if your paranoia is running high). It can then be pinged on demand or automatically respond at pre-set intervals to show its location on a map. The makers say it will work in any country and the first 200 tracks are included in the unit cost; after that, there is a SMS-like usage cost. Im Here GPS Tracker, available soon from imsmart.com, $130 (€98.41)

Côte&Ciel Twin Touch Rucksack

French label CôteCiel (coast and sky) uses pairs of contrasting fabrics for its new range of Twin Touch Rucksacks. This juxtaposing of texture and colour is the twinning bit, with the touch coming from the ultra-fine Memory Tech material which moulds itself for a more ergonomic carry. Each rucksack has an environmentally-friendly, water-resistant Ecoya shell too, to keep its contents dry. CôteCiel Twin Touch Rucksack, €175 from coteetciel.com

Contigo Kangaroo water bottle

Another new water bottle idea from Contigo, featuring its leak and spill-proof autoseal spout which allows easy, one-handed drinking, this one also has a useful compartment to stash your plastic, cash and keys. Plenty of other joined-up thinking in the product design too: an extra-wide mouth for ice cubes and a flip-up handle to clip to your rucksack.
